After the onset of the Covid19 pandemic, it became eminent that education system had to take another dimension in order to keep learners in school and progressing to the next level. We organized ourselves for the transition into Cambridge assessment system and started right away with the academic year 2021-2022.

Following nine years of excellence in an integrated local and East African curricula, Juba Parents School opened the doors to Cambridge international assessment officially on 25th August, 2021.

We had a total of 19 candidates (pioneers) who sat for their Cambridge primary checkpoint exams in April 2022. All students passed, with two scoring 17 out 18 points. This was a great achievement of Elmshaven Christian Academy within less than a year in operation.

We have a competent staff that takes care of the learners unique needs whilst enabling them acquire a holistic education. Elmshaven Christian Academy considers sciences as first priority and to this respect, we have a well-equipped science laboratory where students carry out their practical lessons.

Additionally, attention is also given to co-curricular activities (games and sports, music dance and drama, soap and ice cream making, and cookery). We are presently stocking our library so that our students are able to carry out research.

We run classes from kindergarten section to stage 13. Our Kindergarten section has classic teachers to usher learners on an exciting educational journey to provide a strong and well blended foundation in the beginning of their schooling.

We have a wide array of subjects which include: Mathematics, English, Science (Biology, Chemistry, physics, Global perspectives, geography, History, Music, Dance and Drama, ICT, Art and designs, French and Physical Education, Religious education among others.

In general, this curriculum gives the learners skills they need for life and sets a global standard for education with programmes that stretch, challenge and inspire students.

Our international section follows key stages 1, 2 and 3 culminating into Cambridge International examinations. We also have the kindergarten section.

The school runs three academic terms and each term comprises twelve weeks and 3-4 weeks of break, giving opportunity to;

✓ Parents to spend time with their children ·
